Some time ago I was reviewing some of my genealogy papers.
Come to find out, I had a pirate or two on both sides of my family…maybe that’s the reason I was drawn to see the tall ships in Charleston’s port this past weekend as part of the Maritime Festival.

I drove down to Charleston this weekend. As I was approaching the city it got very foggy. At least that’s what I thought was happening.
It was over cast so I assumed it was fog.
I rolled the window down because the temperature gage said it was 72…the perfect weather to get some fresh air, at least I thought so.
