Reflections From a Country Girl

Many of us have Christmas family traditions. This Christmas was probably the same for many of us.   

I was excited about going back to South Carolina.  Like Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz “there’s no place like home.”

Never in a million years did I believe I would be saying this.  

Hopefully all of us had a good Thanksgiving and didn’t eat too much turkey.  I had not been feeling too much like eating but the days right around Thanksgiving I regained some appetite.  

It’s been a week since I’ve been back in the hospital. I’ve written little since I have had some rough days. I feel much better today. Pierce came by this morning and as he came in I laughed. He had an indian chief headdress on. He brought me a bandana, a cowboy hat, and a […]
