Reflections From a Country Girl

I was reminded of that song – 76 Trombones – in the Music Man from the early 60s yesterday.

There’s a song called Steam Heat from the 1957 musical – The Pajama Game. I am reminded of that song this week and am sure everyone is talking about it…the heat that is. I’m beginning to hear crazy things about what is happening to some people in this heat.

Splish, Splash is a song I bet you remember Bobby Darin singing if you are 40 or older. It’s a cute song about relaxing in a nice bath but getting a real surprise as he opens the door after he dries off.

I missed writing yesterday and that threw me off all day. The best way to describe what happened was bad food.

Last night eight of us got together for an evening of fun and fellowship.
