So I was talking on the phone the other day with a friend who was outside sitting in the porch swing when a group of ducks came waddling down the street. It’s not unusual to see ducks there in that North Charleston area since a well manicured pond is nearby.

Rolling on the River

I often am reminded of a song that has something to do with experiences surrounding me. Credence Clearwater Revival’s Proud Mary is the song I thought of this time. If you don’t remember anything else about that song…you will remember some of the words that go like this…”left a good job in the city, working for the man every night and day…rolling, rolling, rolling on the river.” Proud Mary is a song about working hard but really not seeing life at it’s fullest until you ride on the river.

Find Out Who Your Friends Are
