So I almost didn’t go. I mean, after all, do I really want to do this?

Some time ago I was reviewing some of my genealogy papers. Come to find out, I had a pirate or two on both sides of my family…maybe that’s the reason I was drawn to see the tall ships in Charleston’s port this past weekend as part of the Maritime Festival.
