Reflections From a Country Girl

I was reminded of that song – 76 Trombones – in the Music Man from the early 60s yesterday.

Do you collect things? Perhaps a certain thing like designer plates, cups and saucers, bells, cars, footballs, etc?

Last night eight of us got together for an evening of fun and fellowship.

In 1871, Edward Lear penned a nighttime classic poem about The Owl and the Pussycat. It is a nonsense poem and the artwork he created to go with it is quite nice. The poem suggests that owls and cats love being around each other. I suspect this is so.

I’ve avoided writing about this song long enough. I heard it again yesterday. It’s been calling my name for weeks now.
