So I was suppose to go to see Clemson play Labor Day night against Florida State and had to make some last minute changes. I was dead tired so I decided to get in bed and listen on the radio instead. My very busy weekend caught up with me and it sounded like a good plan to get between the covers and listen intermittedly while I slept.

Death Sentence Comes out Today

This afternoon Death Sentence comes out. Now I don’t usually rush to the movies to be the first to see it. However, because it was filmed here in the Columbia area last fall, my son worked the film, and our car was used in the sequence where the car races to the edge of the top of a parking garage and plummets four stories below (not our car but another, thank goodness), it is on my priority list to see today…or at least sometime this weekend.

Should People be Forgiven for Animal Cruelty?

The last week or so we have heard about a famous athlete who developed and harbored a dog fighting ring. Many animals were critically turned into fighting dogs or were victims of other dogs to the point many of them were mangled or killed.

Answering Questions Under Pressure

I just finished watching our Ms. Teen South Carolina being interviewed on NBC’s Today Show. Not sure how many of you knew she was the third runner up for that Ms. Teen USA competition recently or not.  It seems it’s of little importance right now.  Usually Ms. Teen USA would be fortunate to be interviewed on national television.
