Bar Hopping
Do you remember the 2002 movie – Bar Hopping – that Steven Cohen directed and Tom Arnold and others starred in? Are you a bar hopper? I wouldn’t say I’m much of a one…at least I wouldn’t have said that until I retired. Â

Faith Hill sings a country song called The Lucky One. In it she talks about the things in life that are rough – no air conditioning, not being as far along as she would like to be at age 27, not enough money for a even a bus ticket, no cable tv, but she is still “the lucky one†cause she has that special someone in her life.â€
I’ve thought about those lyrics the last few months. Â
There’s lots of reasons we should consider ourselves the lucky ones.Â
It had been six hours since I got into my car on the way to Tennessee. I heard about Possum Trot for years but had never taken the opportunity to visit. My man and I decided we would head to the hills to find out what it was all about.
The first time I visited I saw Buford with his master, Marshall. They were some of the first we met there on main street in the cowboy town of Possum Trot, Tennessee.
I love trucks.Â
When I was in Newtown, Pennsylvania on my way back from New York City last week, the friends we were visiting had just purchased a truck off the internet. It was a very old truck. Â
