Reflections From a Country Girl

I’ve been in intensive care until late this afternoon.  I am now in room P 603 on one of the leukemia floors at MD Anderson….feeling much better due to some special people with amazing skills. 

A brief update, since yesterday.  Within an hour of the previous update, mom aspirated, which made her very, very short of breath, and induced severe shivering. They got that under control, but in an effort to better monitor her, they moved her to ICU.

It’s 6:00 p.m.   I have charged my phone twice today.  The calls have been nonstop.
