It’s been years since I went to the city of Charlotte, NC. A friend invited me to go with him to see Lion King at the Blumenthal Theatre downtown. He got the tickets months ago, the day they went on sale.
I’m not sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I often nickname events with some funny little name that causes me to remember the activity. Not that I need a name to remember when I have a good time, but remembering the name can bring a smile to my face when I recall it.
I had some friends over for dinner last night. As usual, I slipped on a favorite cd for some background music. One of the songs on the Celtic Women cd, Send me a Song, is one I enjoy often.
I have to admit I am now a bit more cautious when going over bridges these days. After all, who would have thought a big bridge where over 100,000 cars crossed daily would be doomed for a disaster like the one in the news?
