There are those of us who remember Glen Campbell singing the love song “Galveston.â€Â I remember the song, but really did not know much about Galveston – at least until last year when Hurricane Ike hit there and destroyed much of it. All I remember seeing left of Galveston on the news was the Wendy’s sign – still standing after the hours of beating the coast took. I don’t know about you, but I’m not much of a crier. Â
Oh, I’ve had my moments and I often “control†those times but do my best not to cry in front of others. I don’t use crying as a means of trying to get my way. I try to resolve issues by looking at a situation as a problem to be solved instead of crying about it. Sometimes, however, a good cry actually relieves the pressures of the day but those episodes are few and far between – even now. Â
On Friday I got so emotional about something that someone made me cry. Â

When I discovered I was sick in February of this year I recall having – what I called then – five good days between then and May 18th. That may sound a bit negative, but there were really five days during that time when I could say that I felt great. The others were not so good days physically.
