It’s Always Good to See a Friend in a Foreign Land

Yesterday afternoon my sister came in for a visit to Houston.   She will be here until Saturday.  

She spent the night with me last night at the hospital.    

I am glad to have her here.  We’ve caught up, talked on and off as I could and – when we were tired – we just smiled with our eyes above our masks until we both drifted off to sleep that night.

I hear and feel that these next days are to be the toughest with the chemo.My wish for you today is that you are able to surround yourselves with those who care about you when you are weak and in need of special care.
