On the Road Again
So I’m up at 4 a.m. getting ready for a quick trip to a small town in the Shannandoah Valley in Virginia. I have to be there this afternoon to set up for a workshop I am presenting all day tomorrow. Just like Willie Nelson I find myself “on the road again.”
Who would have thought in the 1980’s that any of us would be training colleagues on how to recognize post traumatic stress symptoms in children…yes, even infants. Â
But here we are doing that very thing.Â
So I will go and collaborate with these caretakers on how to function after a terrorist attack or a natural disaster. The school district is being proactive…and wisely so. Â
None of us want to think about these things but that is the reality in today’s world.Â
My wish for you today is that you never have to be a part of a terrorist attack or natural disaster. However, it is good to do some general preparation like making emergency plans, etc. Be proactive.Â
