Reflections From a Country Girl

My son called to say hello last night.  He was in Brooklyn, NY with friends after working diligently all week long on a project he just started with two very talented architects. 

“Mom!”  He said.  “ I’m in a shop you would LOVE. It’s a chocolate shop and it’s really great!”

He sent me the link to http://thechocolateroombrooklyn.com and I looked it up.  It was quite a nice looking little shop with tasty treats that made my mouth water just looking at them.  I guess, while he is up there working, I will have to go visit and try it out.  

 

There are a number of my friends who like chocolate.  I ran into one of them at the grocery store the other day.  She told me about M&Ms that you can actually get made with your unique sayings on them.  The M& M site where you can special order those little tasty treats is http://www.mymms.com/22colors/.   How novel.

Any way you look at it, chocolates are treats we associate with February and Valentine’s Day.  For those of us who find ourselves “chocoholics” it’s the perfect month for these indulgences.  

My wish for you today is that you savor a good chocolate now and then.  Venture out to find the most unique tasty chocolate treats you can.  Life is too short not to enjoy a chocolate now and then.
