Reflections From a Country Girl

I love Carolina Clemson Football weekends.  Everyone rallys around their teams, wears their colors proudly and has a darn good time gathering to watch the game. 

I used to go to all the games, but I prefer, now, to watch it with friends of mixed persuasion … that is both orange lovers and garnet lovers. 

Yesterday was no exception.  I gathered with friends for the big event.  We ate.  We drank…in moderation of course.  :) 

We watched the game together as we disected each play. The Clemson kicker had missed two earlier attempts at field goals.  It was time to redeem himself and redeem himself he did. As you know by now, Clemson won at the last minute with a field goal. 

Orange lovers everywhere rejoice…at least until next year. We garnet folks will be getting ready for a comeback.  

My wish for you today is that you are able to enjoy life with good friends – no matter what their persuasion.
