Recently I wrote about Buford.  He was my friend’s basset hound that had been a constant and faithful companion for years.  He was tragically hit by a car and killed suddenly.   My friend was devastated.  Actually, devastated was not an adequate enough way to describe it.  He has been down since then.

It had been six hours since I got into my car on the way to Tennessee. I heard about Possum Trot for years but had never taken the opportunity to visit. My man and I decided we would head to the hills to find out what it was all about.
