I got to thinking about it and went back after lunch to take a picture. Well, if you couldn’t tell, it’s a deflated inflatable Santa. Did you ever feel that way? I have. If I’m honest, sometimes it’s hard to be happy and jolly all the time. Sometimes I feel like this poor guy.

When I was standing in this front yard, a woman came out and asked me what I was doing. I told her that I wanted to take a picture of her Santa. She apologized and said that he was on a timer and she didn’t know how to inflate him. I told her that sometimes I felt like a deflated inflatable Santa during the Christmas season and I wanted to take a picture to share with some friends. She started to cry and said that sometimes she felt that way too. I told her not to worry because I knew that at the right time that she’d get herself “pumped up” and be ready. I then told her that the really good news was that after the timer was unplugged and Santa was packed up and put away that he’d be replaced by brand new baby boy that would change the world and that was the ultimate gift.

If you’re feeling like a deflated inflatable Santa this season, I want you to remember the same thing!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.
