I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t use crying as a means of trying to get my way.\u00c2\u00a0 I try to resolve issues by looking at a situation as a problem to be solved instead of crying about it.\u00c2\u00a0 Sometimes, however, a good cry actually relieves the pressures of the day but those episodes are few and far between &#8211; even now. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">On Friday I got so emotional about something that someone made me cry. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">I was not angry at her.\u00c2\u00a0 She did not do me wrong. She simply walked into my room at noon while I was receiving transfusion treatment as an outpatient at the cancer center. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">You see, my sister, Vicki, surprised me and flew in for the weekend to visit.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">It had been over three months since I saw her.\u00c2\u00a0 The last time she was here I was so sick I could not get out of bed as I had a very serious infection that was eating away at my body.\u00c2\u00a0 I also had a bad case of pneumonia.\u00c2\u00a0 The prognosis for my recuperation was not good and she was there to support me and my son. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">My son told me he had something to do Friday morning.\u00c2\u00a0 I had no idea it was to pick my sister up at the airport. \u00c2\u00a0 When she walked in behind him I gasped and started crying.\u00c2\u00a0 We talk each day and I had just told her the evening before that I hoped she had a good day at school tomorrow. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">Vicki and I talked all the rest of the weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 My hours of transfusions turned into &#8211; what seemed &#8211; minutes.\u00c2\u00a0 Those of you who know me are well aware that I talk a great deal. My sister has that same talent. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">It was a non stop talking marathon.\u00c2\u00a0 Her visit energized me and, though I had some numbers that were continuously dropping dangerously low, my energy seemed to stay with me &#8211; at least from the neck up. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">She left to go back home yesterday and I was so glad she surprised me.\u00c2\u00a0 Being so far away from home makes me appreciate being able to talk to face to face to family and friends even more. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><strong><em>My wish for you today<\/em><\/strong> is that you have reasons for crying happy tears often and that you are able to use crying as a positive form of stress relief whenever you need to.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">~ Joellen<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know about you, but I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not much of a crier. \u00c2\u00a0 Oh, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had my moments and I often \u00e2\u20ac\u0153control\u00e2\u20ac\u009d those times but do my best not to cry in front of others.
