I guess that means the chemo is working this round.\u00c2\u00a0 The goal &#8211; 0 &#8211; so we have a ways to go.\u00c2\u00a0 Meanwhile, I do get doses of platelets and pints of blood on a fairly regular basis as well as get regular outpatient physical and occupational therapy. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\">This week I felt well enough to go to the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros game here in Texas and went to see the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.\u00c2\u00a0 I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m also experiencing the local cuisine as my system allows.\u00c2\u00a0 With the flu season coming I will have to be more careful as my immune system is down but I take my chances when I feel fairly confident of them and I feel strong enough to do it.\u00c2\u00a0 In most instances I am still in the wheelchair &#8211; a whole different experience in itself.\u00c2\u00a0 I am, however, able to stand and walk much better now and am using that wheelchair and walker as energy conservers as well as to make sure I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a fall. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; min-height: 14px; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: normal normal normal 12px\/normal Helvetica; margin: 0px\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px\"><strong>My wish for you<\/strong> is that you continue to enjoy life as much as possible.\u00c2\u00a0 You just never know when things may change. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just finished my third round of chemo and have a few instances of nausea but not many other side effects so far. \u00c2\u00a0 Good news is that my blasts have gone down to 40 after shooting up to 58.
