I admit I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m hooked on this show – Deal or No Deal.\u00c2\u00a0 I think Howie is as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153cute as a button\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and am intrigued by the banker that no one sees except in the dark shadows of his station above the audience.\u00c2\u00a0 The contestants agonize over winning or losing lots of money….when it really is all about chance. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It reminds me that real life is a deal or no deal situation.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s made up of a series of decisions we make surrounded by circumstances we sometimes have little control over.\u00c2\u00a0 The choices we make everyday take us one way or the other … sometimes in good places and sometimes in bad. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

So what kind of deals have you made lately?\u00c2\u00a0 Are you quick to make decisions without little thought or do you take hours of evaluating before you make your decision?\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

I remember my father taking weeks with me to pick out a car.\u00c2\u00a0 I was ready immediately to get the first 1965 Mustang I saw – doing my best not to show my Dad that I knew that eight cylinder four barrel car would really move on the highway and I would be the envy of some of my friends who had \u00e2\u20ac\u0153grandma cars.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0 However, we had to look at MANY other cars as well as take that mustang and several others to our trusted mechanic for a closer look under the hood.\u00c2\u00a0 All that when we could have gotten that mustang weeks earlier and I could have been out on the road.\u00c2\u00a0 We made the deal five weeks later and I was on my way to monthly car payments and a super car that lasted me through my college years. \u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

You are probably thinking of some of the deals you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve made along the way.\u00c2\u00a0 Good ones and bad, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve all have them.\u00c2\u00a0 When it comes down to it, dealing with life on a daily basis is a common occurrence for all of us. Call it dealing, call it decision making, call it whatever.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

My wish for you today <\/strong>is that you are surrounded by people that help you make good decisions and deals throughout your life.\u00c2\u00a0 Yes, some of it may be chance alone, but hopefully you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be making good deals most of the time.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
