{"id":375,"date":"2007-08-13T00:04:54","date_gmt":"2007-08-13T04:04:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=375"},"modified":"2007-08-13T00:06:28","modified_gmt":"2007-08-13T04:06:28","slug":"playing-cat-and-mouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=375","title":{"rendered":"Playing Cat and Mouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I was headed to the car after dark and spotted one of the cats outside.<span>  <\/span>Miss Kitty hadn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t been around for awhile.<span>  <\/span>She belongs to someone else and I suspected she was in or they had gone on vacation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I knew she was \u00e2\u20ac\u0153on the hunt\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as she was crouched like she was getting ready to pounce on something.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--more-->Before I could even say \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ms. Kitty, what are you doing?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d she jumped something in the dark and began chewing on it.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">It was a mouse.<span>  <\/span>By the time she stopped knowing on it, it was dead.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I think she ate the whole thing!<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">This is another reason I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t want an animal in my house.<span>  <\/span>After all, who wants a cat licking on you ANYWHERE if she has been eating a mouse!<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>My wish for you today<\/strong> is that you enjoy your animals but keep in mind that their mouths and paws could have been many places during the day before you let them lick on you.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">~ Joellen<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was headed to the car after dark and spotted one of the cats outside.
