I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve avoided writing about this song long enough. <\/span>I heard it again yesterday. <\/span>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been calling my name for weeks now.<\/p>\n

Brad Paisley sings it. <\/span>He likes to sing funny songs and this one is VERY funny to me\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m Gonna Miss Her<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a song about a man with a passion that gets him in trouble. <\/span>The reason I say it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a passion is because \u00e2\u20ac\u201c when he is not working and sleeping \u00e2\u20ac\u201c his song suggests he is doing this all the time.<\/p>\n

Because of it, his woman gives him an ultimatum.<\/p>\n

Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t you just hate it, men, when you get one of those thrown your way? <\/span>It often starts with, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Come sit down for a minute, I have something to talk with you about.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d <\/span>Right? I hear those few words, said with just the right tone, brings fear to the strongest man\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s soul.<\/p>\n

Now Brad sings that he loves her and isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t scared to say it. <\/span>He is more than likely a hard working man and brings in some good financial support to the relationship. <\/span>He believes he deserves a break.<\/p>\n

This fishing is what he LOVES and he is determined to continue his journey to the fishing hole\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6even though she says in the song she will pack up and be gone by noon if he does.<\/p>\n

All kidding aside, if you find yourself in a similar situation you may want to stop and give it a little more thought than he did before you head out to the fishing hole today.<\/p>\n

Now I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not saying he should stop fishing altogether. <\/span>I mean, a man who has a passion for fishing is far better off than one who has a passion for drinking, carousing and gambling. <\/span>Not much, but at least he is usually doing only one thing when he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s out there on a boat in the middle of a lake\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6and it could have to do with dinner (as long as HE cleans them first).<\/p>\n

His woman is saying enough is enough. <\/span>She is not getting the kind of attention she needs, she is fed up with it and she has decided today is the day to tell him so. <\/span><\/p>\n

I suggest that anyone who seems to have a passion that is perceived as more important than a spouse or significant other may want to take just a little closer look at what that means. <\/span>Is it really a passion or an excuse to get out of the house from a nagging wife or husband? <\/span>If it is, a smart person will step back and do a little \u00e2\u20ac\u0153reconsidering\u00e2\u20ac\u009d before heading out the door. <\/span><\/p>\n

My wish for you today<\/strong> is that you have a healthy and balanced relationship with your spouse or significant other. <\/span>Even the best of us can get off balance every once in a while. <\/span>If that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the case for you, then you may want to reconsider outside commitments and adjust things before they get too out of hand.<\/p>\n
