{"id":351,"date":"2007-07-13T05:29:32","date_gmt":"2007-07-13T09:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=351"},"modified":"2007-07-13T05:30:54","modified_gmt":"2007-07-13T09:30:54","slug":"the-next-best-thing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=351","title":{"rendered":"The Next Best Thing?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Have you seen the show \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<strong><em>The Next Best Thing<\/em>?<\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<span>   <\/span>This reality based television show has impersonators of famous people competing for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the prize.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Most of them are exceptional actors and actresses who \u00e2\u20ac\u0153become\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the famous person of their choice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I like the show, but I wonder if in reality that is such a good idea?<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--more-->I mean these people obsess about the characters they play.<span>  <\/span>They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve read and seen everything there is about the person they \u00e2\u20ac\u0153become\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s really amazing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I wonder if they get lost in this role and forget who they really are deep inside?<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">As a child, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve all seen some try their best to be like others to fit in.<span>  <\/span>That included such things are wearing just the right clothes, talking and acting like that person, befriending someone just because they are friends of the person you want to be friends with.
