{"id":344,"date":"2007-07-05T10:51:49","date_gmt":"2007-07-05T14:51:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=344"},"modified":"2007-07-05T10:51:49","modified_gmt":"2007-07-05T14:51:49","slug":"never-wanted-nothin%e2%80%99-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=344","title":{"rendered":"Never Wanted Nothin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Yesterday was another July 4<sup>th<\/sup> holiday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--more--> It was a day of rest and reflection for me.<span>  <\/span>I had been working several intense 10 hour days and was ready for a break.<span>  <\/span>Working on several projects \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the focus had been pretty intense.<span>  <\/span>I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t finish either project. <span> <\/span>The temptation was to get up early and spend some time early on July 4th working on both\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6even though I had promised myself I would take the day off.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I avoided the temptation to work and put my head back on the pillow about <st1:time minute=\"30\" hour=\"18\" w:st=\"on\">6:30<\/st1:time> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c that is &#8211; after I wrote my reflection and entered it on the sites.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">At <st1:time minute=\"15\" hour=\"9\" w:st=\"on\">9:15<\/st1:time> the phone rang.<span>  <\/span>It was to confirm our plans for the day\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6a trip to the Battery in Charleston to stroll along the walkway and to see a new monument at White Point Gardens, a ride around the city, and back to prepare a light but appropriate July 4<sup>th<\/sup> meal, a nice visit with friends, and maybe a view of the fireworks after dark.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I was reminded of the country song \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<strong><em>Never Wanted Nothin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 More<\/em><\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as the day progressed.
