{"id":320,"date":"2007-06-13T15:20:21","date_gmt":"2007-06-13T15:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=320"},"modified":"2007-06-13T15:23:15","modified_gmt":"2007-06-13T15:23:15","slug":"i-was-on-cloud-nine-yesterday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/?p=320","title":{"rendered":"I Was on Cloud Nine Yesterday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Yesterday I celebrated a friend\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s birthday with him by meeting him at one of his favorite places and taking him to lunch afterwards.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--more-->It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s always fun to shop and eat with friends&#8230;especially when there is something to celebrate.<span>  <\/span>Going with George is no exception.<span>  <\/span>He is fun to be with and always has the best stories to tell.<span>  <\/span>His birthday was just another excuse to enjoy his company again.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Yesterday was no exception.<span>  <\/span>I did not realize, however, that I would be experiencing such a wonderful treat when I entered the shop he has talked about frequently over the past few months.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I was on Cloud Nine in more ways than one.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">You see, there is a shop on <st1:street w:st=\"on\"><st1:address w:st=\"on\">Gervais Street<\/st1:address><\/st1:street> in the <st1:place w:st=\"on\">Vista<\/st1:place> called <em>Cloud Nine<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">This is not just any ole shop.<span>  <\/span>It is full of delights ranging from edible confection treats as well as things like yellow grits, rice and specialty teas all made or grown right here in <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:state w:st=\"on\">South   Carolina<\/st1:state><\/st1:place>.<span>  <\/span>Then there was the delightful china and porcelain from all over the world, a large selection of body and bath items, baskets galore and kitchen\/entertainment goodies fit for a queen. Yes, this place had it all. It really did make you feel like you were on \u00e2\u20ac\u0153cloud nine\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and all right here in <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:city w:st=\"on\">Columbia<\/st1:city><\/st1:place>.<span>  <\/span>They also have a delightful coffee selection that will tempt anyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s taste buds.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I have just returned from <st1:state w:st=\"on\">Pennsylvania<\/st1:state> and <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:state w:st=\"on\">New Jersey<\/st1:state><\/st1:place> where many of the specialty shops looked like this one.<span>  <\/span>Just think, now I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have to go that far to get what I want&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Next Monday they will begin serving lunch and you, too, can go by and savor the moment while you peruse their goodies.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Thanks, <em>Could Nine<\/em>, for making my day a little more enjoyable. Your staff was exceptional and your collection will continue to be tempting.<span>  <\/span>I can see why George loves it there.<span>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>My wish for you today<\/strong> is that you take the time to visit <em>Cloud Nine<\/em> and enjoy the sights, sounds and fragrances.
