Fishing in the ocean with my father is still one of my favorite memories from my youth.<\/p>\n<p>I was \u00e2\u20ac\u0153out on the water\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the other evening with some good friends who had me over for dinner.  After we ate they invited me out on Lake Murray for an evening ride.<\/p>\n<p>The weather was perfect for a little spin in their boat.     <a href=\"https:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/clouds-at-lake-murray-003.jpg\" title=\"clouds-at-lake-murray-003.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/reflectionsfromacountrygirl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/clouds-at-lake-murray-003.thumbnail.jpg\" title=\"clouds-at-lake-murray-003.jpg\" alt=\"clouds-at-lake-murray-003.jpg\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As we moved rapidly across the lake, the sun was beginning to set.  I was sure the water would be just right for a dip\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6though I had not brought my swimsuit with me.<\/p>\n<p>As I slipped on the back of the boat with my lifejacket securely fastened, I found the water was perfect\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6at least for slipping my legs in.<\/p>\n<p>One of our daring souls even jumped in a few times.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Life is always better on the water\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6my Dad would say.
