Yesterday I was on my way out of the transfusion unit after being at the hospital all day…12 hours to be exact.  I don’t know how the nurses do those 12 hour shifts, but I appreciate that they can do it.  When I was leaving I met Alice. 

I was enjoying a new friendship the other day when I used the word “caddywhompus.”  

Well maybe not quite but I’m on the way, again. Gene Autry sang this song many years ago. Basically, he sings about getting back to basics out on the range where he “got back to normal” living.
